I think it’s kind of cute to have small earrings of a breed, particularly when the breed itself is rather small.

The Boston is said to be the most affectionate with its master. Well, of course! Only a stupid dog, of which this breed is certainly not one, would be the most affectionate with the mailman! Sometimes I think the people who write the dog books just run out of things to say. They should be more like me and not worry about boring their readers to death with stream of consciousness style writing. Besides, I think you’ll understand that there’s only so many words one artist can say about a dog when the real way to know one is to own one.

Here’s something I just read about this little dog which I can add to the already noteworthy list of its amazing qualities. It makes a good guard dog. Imagine! What would such a little fellow do when confronted with a burglar, anyway? You could always hope for a robber who is afraid of dogs under 20 pounds, I suppose.
