Description: For all cat lovers, the health of the pet is of primary importance. It used to be common practice to give a cat a bowl of milk. Now it seems obvious that a cow, which is so many times larger than a cat, couldn’t possibly be providing suitable nutrition for a feline! It’s true that many cats relish cream or milk from a cow, but many kids enjoy candy and other junk food. Sometimes the “parents” just have to take charge! Cats are natural carnivores. Even though I’m primarily a vegetarian myself, I wouldn’t even consider trying to impose that discipline on a meat eating animal like a cat. For a cat to be healthy, I strongly feel it must eat the food it was designed to eat. Some people currently go so far as to recommend a raw meat diet for cats. I don’t know a lot about that, but if I had a cat I would probably at least study up on that idea. I think there are companies that offer safe frozen raw food for cats and dogs.
