Description: Some people, including my sister Holly, are disturbed by the unusual eyes of a goat. I think they’re not so much alarming as enticing, like eyes of some alien being. My grand daughter as well as my grand niece are similarly attracted to goats. Whereas some adults are made nervous by the possible head butting and insistent nature of these animals, our two current toddlers like to get right in there with the goats at the local petting zoo. I just take my hint from Ada and figure if she’s OK with them, then I certainly should be as well! We have a series of photographs with both little girls and their grizzled friends. Goats are pretty long lived-up to 18 years. There’s a peculiar goat habit that I was kind of amused by. Goats enjoy straw, and sometimes have been seen scratching their backs with straw as it’s held in their mouths! That just sounds like something a goat would do, doesn’t it?
