Description: I created this piece so that anyone could see the beauty of the golden retriever in a color suitable for the breed. Golden retriever equals 14k gold. Is certainly makes sense to me. This dog is about 61 inches tall, but is a good eater and sometimes his waistline has to be watched. He enjoys food with the same exuberance that he enjoys the other parts of his life. If you compared a golden retriever who had the life of a pet with one who had a life as a sportsman’s dog, you would surely be able to tell the difference at a cursory glance. The dog, just like us humans, must find a use for those calories that are ingested! This dog, like many other intelligent ones, needs to have his interest piqued in order not to get into trouble. In other words, he is easily bored and that’s something you most certainly don’t want your golden to be! But it is possible to train him much to his, and your enjoyment. If you don’t have the time for this, then perhaps this is not the breed for you. Because the muzzle of the golden is so soft, he can carry a newspaper without leaving a single mark. This is an important characteristic for a dog that has been bred to retrieve game. I recently had a gold golden retriever pin pendant cast for one of my customers, and it was quite beautiful indeed. |
