The gold pin pendant is a real “wow” piece of jewelry, mostly because of the size and the amount of gold in each piece. I don’t keep these in stock, rather they are individually cast and finished for you by my goldsmith in New England once I receive your order. The ones I have sold have all been stunners. Be sure you allow enough time if you are ordering this type of gold jewelry as a gift.- they are definitely worth the wait and are magnets for admiration. I think any larger item of jewelry in 14k gold is so beautiful. I believe the Egyptians were really fond of large gold jewelry which they wore with utter aplomb. They were an elegant race and I imagine it would be fascinating to discuss their view of the ancient world. If you were to turn over one of my pin pendants you would see a gold loop near the top of the back with a pin soldered on underneath it. It was designed to be worn as either a pin or a larger pendant, with neither the pin nor the loop on the back visible when you look at the piece from the front. In other words, the wearer can switch back and forth wearing the pin pendant one day as a pendant and the next as a pin, with no one the wise but herself! |
