Description: Let’s face it- you have a tough job. Extremely rewarding, but tough just the same. To me, the hardest jobs are often the most rewarding. Even my life as an artist can be tough, though it might be hard for you to believe! It’s true I don’t have to struggle with a tough customer in the form of a German Shepherd dog who is scared and doesn’t want to be at the vet’s office. So in that way, I’d have to agree that your job is indeed tougher than mine! It’s a good thing that there are people like you willing to take on animals of all types and species and help them no matter how they struggle. It has got to be so rewarding to bring an animal back to health after a life threatening illness or dangerous accident. What would all of us pet lovers do without you? A couple of years ago I spent an afternoon in the treatment area of the Alameda Animal Hospital. I was absolutely flabbergasted at the amount of work and the skill level of the vet techs who were on duty that afternoon. You guys are great! So go ahead- get yourself a gold small vet tech pendant.
