Description: I know that some veterinarians prefer the gold caduceus, and I am happy to have it cast for them! The detail is picked up equally well when seen in 14k. It was a lot of fun for me to create a symbol for the noble profession of veterinarian.(I’m not trying to say that I created the original symbol, just my version of it!)  I’ve always had such a good feeling for anyone who works in this field. In the early dawn of The Magic Zoo, it was the veterinarians of my local area in California who encouraged me the most in my animal jewelry designing. I’ve never forgotten that, and when I started to have my work cast in precious metal, I felt it was time to make something especially for them. Thus the birth of the veterinary caduceus symbol, Magic Zoo style! Whenever I sell one of these I get my own little thrill, knowing that it will be worn by someone while they’re saving the life of a cat, or treating a dog for some illness or other. Or helping a turtle, iguana, fish and you name it! I don’t expect that every time you put on your gold little veterinary caduceus you’ll think of me, but that’s OK. I want it to be a piece of jewelry that is very much yours, and if once and a while you stop by and visit with me at a veterinary convention, I’ll be satisfied!
