Description: No matter what you think about these rodents, you have to admire their ability to survive. They quickly adapt to new conditions and naturally go about making lots and lots of babies! I don’t even know how moms can handle twins, much less the massive numbers of young these rat mothers have to contend with. Rats just cover the globe with their numbers. I think it might not be a good thing to realize just how many wild rats there are in the world. Best to leave that knowledge be! Rats are pretty big, some as long as two feet. Oh my gosh. I’m not in an awful hurry to come across a 2 foot rat anytime soon. In North America there’s a rat known as a wood rat that builds his own little house using whatever is to hand. In the desert a wood rat might pile up cacti and other assorted stuff up against a rock. Inside this, the wily rodents dig out some burrows so they’ll have some chambers to live in. I think my 14k large gold rat pendant would positively grab the attention of a rat lover, and is an especially wonderful piece of animal jewelry.
