Description: I’ve had people admire this pendant because it looks like a rabbit which is wild, but also a bit tame at the same time. He makes me think of a rabbit that is politely taking a piece of food from someone’s hand. A little timid but grateful. Most people associate rabbits with productivity, of the baby- making kind. It’s true they produce their share of young, but you would too if you were worried about being wiped out by coyotes, cats, owls, hawks, the list goes on and on. At least they know how to assure the survival of their kind. You’ve got to hand it to them. I have seen a tiny baby rabbit or two in my life. They are so cute. One of my grand daughter’s favorite story books is about Curious George the monkey who is given a baby rabbit by his grateful friend. There are just some lovely illustrations of bunnies that really capture the sweetness of this animal. It is one of Ada’s favorite books, and mine as well. Occasionally I visit with the group promoting rabbits as house pets at one of the trade shows where I exhibit my jewelry. They are such earnest young women and it certainly is an interesting idea. I know a lot of people enjoy having bunnies as pets, though, of course, I try to provide a gold pendant for every small pet and my small gold rat pendant is another option. For rabbit lovers everywhere, my gold rabbit pendant is a fetching little piece that you can wear every day or just for special occasions. |
