Description: I am quite fond of reptiles, and to me it’s an honor to have the ability to create their images as 14k gold reptile pendants. I like to think that perhaps someone wearing my gold chameleon jewelry has gotten a young person interested in these fascinating animals. Chameleons are lizards with some downright bizarre characteristics. In other words they just don’t look like other lizards. Their bodies are high in proportion to the length and it’s also rather a flattened body from side to side. The tail can wrap around a twig for extra support. The feet are designed like a pair of tongs. As if that wasn’t enough, they have those wild eyes that swivel independently of each other. That’s only a partial list of their rather unearthly qualities. I suppose I should give you another one while chameleons are still on my mind. They have a gigantically long tongue that can shoot out in a flash to capture their prey. It must be rolled up in their mouth in between feedings, as it seems to be as long as their body is. Very strange and wondrous indeed. The very idea of a gold chameleon pendant makes me happy- and I love the set you can create by combining this gold pendant with the matching pair of chameleon earrings.
