I hope you have someone you know and love who would enjoy wearing one of my gold reptile pendants. Do you know why? It’s because I’d feel reassured that I’m not the only woman who is enamored of these amazing creatures!
I’m not sure why anyone would consider it strange that a woman would be as appreciative of reptiles in all their fantastic variety as, say, the furry pets on my gold small critter page! To me reptiles are some of the most aesthetic animals on the planet, and being able to appreciate beauty is certainly a trait many associate with the fairer sex. Why, I am thrilled when a gecko visits our bedroom wall. Just the fact that it feels so at home in our environment makes me happy. I’m lucky because my husband shares my enthusiasm, or at least puts up with it.
My grand daughter seems to be taking after me in that wise. But I have to give much of the credit to her mother as well. Diana is fearless when it comes to capturing animals brought in the house by the cat, no matter the species or type. Throckmorton has captured everything from snakes to moles (I'm sure that somewhere amongst my 14k animals in pendant form is an example of each of her unfortunate captives), proudly popping through her kitty door with them without so much as a by-your-leave. The lizards have a fair record of escape from this cat; it could be she doesn’t try super hard to catch every one since there are so many of them.
So celebrate the vast variety of wonderful animals on our planet and wear proudly a gold reptile pendant! |
