Description: The size of this pendant is just right for a young person. Of course, many women enjoy a little gold pendant as well. Those who would like a gold pendant depicting a quarter horse or other horse form, can find many options on my horse themed gold pendant page. I’ve gotten a bit interested in the whole subject of the horseshoe. Why is it associated with the concept of good luck? It may be associated with the idea that iron itself has something magical about it. Blacksmiths were considered to have some of this power to hand because of the elements they worked with, and if this power resulted in good luck, why not pass a little of that on and protect your house or barn by placing a horseshoe there for protection? I suppose people feel that it does no harm. Besides, I think “good luck” is created by the person himself. But surely there’s nothing harmful in nailing a horseshoe up someplace! There seem to be some things that have to be paid attention to when your horse is being shod. So even if you feel your farrier is competent, I imagine it would pay to have some data yourself just so you’d know for sure that he was doing a competent job. If shoes are a necessary evil, then at least the best shoes and the best shoeing job possible would be a good thing to aim for.
