Description: This is one of those designs that just managed to get cuter the smaller it got, but this is about as small as I can make it so I guess it just won’t get any cuter than this! I’ve been learning a bit about the amazing mental feats of the hog. They are said to be smarter that a dog. There are people who have trained their pig to be a watch hog, a job at which they excel. Not only are pigs very light sleepers, but they are naturally protective of those for whom they feel affection. Pigs have been taught to retrieve game for hunters. Their sensitive noses, so useful in the hunting of truffles, can also follow a trail and I bet they could give bloodhounds a run for their money. Think of the potential lives that could be saved were pigs taken out on the fresh trail of a lost child. I suggest we assign the noble hog these higher purposes, and forgo the bacon and the porkchops. Surely a seeing- eye hog is more important to the forward motion of mankind than a ham sandwich? I’m only slightly joking…does it not seem a waste to eat an animal that could be used for such things? And now, more than ever, I offer this little14k gold pig pendant as a reminder of all that pig potential that perhaps is being wasted and should be reassigned!
