Description: It’s not as large as the pin-pendant of a similar design, but nonetheless it would be hard not to notice someone wearing it. I created this gold pendant based on pig I read about in a library book. She was over 800 lbs, lived in New England, and loved roaming the neighborhood looking for handouts. She had a great face and a funny expression and I felt compelled to use her as a model for this design. For those who want something a little more compact, you will love how cute my small pig gold pendant turned out. Pigs with personality. I think there are more of them than anyone wants to admit. After all, if we all stopped eating pork, what would become of all those pigs? That is a very good question, and one I have no idea how to answer. I’m not a militant vegetarian by any means. I like to quietly live my meat free life without commenting on the carnivorous habits of my fellows, some of whom are my very own family members! And I have several more beautiful gold pendants of farm animals I don't eat. But this gold pig pendant would do any pig lover proud, and I hope you get as much a kick out of looking at it and maybe even wearing it as I did when I created the original design. |
