I see nothing unusual about showing up at a fancy occasion with a lovely gold farm animal pendant on, do you? If you agree with my philosophy, then I think we will get along splendidly. I invariably get complemented on the animal jewelry piece which at least is some support for my theory. I have no illusions that the kind of people who love my jewelry are caught up in whatever the rest of the fashion world has decided is beautiful, passé, or terribly hideous. To me, the only hideous thing is listening to other people’s opinions without deciding something for yourself. And I would imagine that most people who enjoy looking at and buying Magic Zoo jewelry are pretty much self-propelled, as far as what they want to wear. Which brings me back to the point of why you should wear a beautiful goat, sheep, or donkey pendant around your neck. I have always believed, much to my very fashionable mom and sister’s chagrin, that the idea of “doing your own thing” should take priority over “doing someone else’s thing”, even if that person is a big fashion mogul who supposes he or she has the right to dictate the latest fashion trend! And that brings us right to the point of wearing a pig pendant on a gold chain if that what tickles your fancy! Or any other of my gold animal pendants, for that matter! Horse fans should note that horse pendants in 14k gold are on a separate page. |
