Description: I like the color variations in this breed, dog to dog. The other thing that intrigues me is the way the hair is somewhat multi colored and you have these nice gradations of color in the “beard” and in the hair that’s pulled up to make a little bow on top of the head. Shih Tzus seem destined for the aid of the human, how else could they “do” their hair? Just like a Hollywood star of the 1930s, when it required a team of people to apply the makeup and finish the coif. They look like they expect the service, and must certainly feel like they deserve it! These little ones have a body length that only just exceeds their height. Their body is fairly broad, the back being level and the chest is rather deep. The muzzle is not wrinkled (how could you even tell if it were?) and the dark eyes are extremely expressive. What are they trying to say with those eyes? I feel like I can almost understand. If I lived with a Shih Tzu long enough I could probably tell. If you are such a lucky person to own one of these little dolls, you deserve a gold Shih Tzu pendant of your own! |
