Description: As might be expected, the Giant Schnauzer is a big strong dog, even tougher than its standard cousin. It was even used to drive cattle until the trains took the place of cattle drives. That is quite a picture I have in my head: a fully groomed giant schnauzer snapping at the heels of a hundred head of cattle! Please forgive my little flights of fancy! Actually, I have no idea how the schnauzers looked on those drives. Maybe they wore chaps and little cowboy hats. Probably because it is in this willful family of dogs, even the giant schnauzer can be a little undisciplined. Just so you know, I had all three of the schnauzer variations in mind when I designed this pendant. I just happen to be off on a little tangent having to do with the giant schnauzers at the moment. I don’t mean to sound like I’m playing favorites. If I had to pick between the three variations, I’m not sure which one would be my favorite, anyway. They all have such appealing characteristics. I’m not sure which one I like best! I’m hoping you find my gold schnauzer pendant appealing, but most of all, I wish you the best of luck with that independently thinking dog of yours.
