Description: Here is a winsome gold pug head pendant to wear whenever you feel the urge! Why do I have so many pugs in my line of dog jewelry? That’s easy to answer. They are extremely fun and challenging to design, and my customers seem to really like the work I do with them. It makes for a good combination of circumstances! Pugs sound like a lot of fun to own. It seems they are entertaining and amusing little dogs, and besides they love children! Maybe because they are rather childlike themselves and they recognize a kindred spirit in the little ones. Another wonderful thing about pugs is they don’t take up a lot of room and are perfectly happy to live in a small apartment or a home that more closely resembles the palace of their ancestors. I bet they are happy just for warm human companionship. I would imagine that when the pug was so honored by the ancient Chinese, he himself was just happy to be played with and fed regularly, and I doubt if the pompous surroundings added much to his pleasure. But then again, perhaps he got used to being terribly spoiled. I wonder if he was taken for walks on a diamond studded lead? Oh the things I’ll never know! One of the things I do know, is that my gold pug head pendant would be a great gift for anyone especially fond of this little dog with the colorful past. |
