Description: Imagine what the life of a husky living the traditional life must be like. Of course I can’t know with certainty, but I can make a guess. The dogs wake up covered in snow, looking like little snow covered hills dotting the area right outside the igloo, Their master is awake and appears outside the entrance of the igloo with the morning blubber from the most recent seal catch, ready to throw it to the hungry dogs. They all have names, but I can’t hope to pronounce them. The dogs shake off the dusting of snow and wag their tails in greeting. The man smiles at them and brings them their breakfast. The huskies don’t growl or fight over their food, but peacefully share the repast, licking the snow where the meat had been after they filled their bellies. Today they are going hunting again with the man, and they quiver in excitement as he makes preparations with the sled. Just then the man’s three year old child tumbles into the snow outside the warm igloo, giggling and grabbing the dog closest. The dog licks him and he laughs again.
