Description: I think of the Frenchie as a dog with a perpetually wistful look on his face. Granted, he may only be wondering when you’re going to give him his next doggie treat. Or maybe he’s happy that the kids just got back from school so he can be smothered in childish affection. How does one know what’s actually going on in that little doggie head of his? One surprising thing about the French bulldog is that they can move pretty darn fast when they want to! You wouldn’t think so looking at that somewhat squat frame. But a lot of doggy power can propel that little body across the room or the yard if the occasion should arise. Most of the time he’s happy to be a house dog, relaxing happily with those he loves best. But he is not lazy; this little dog is alert and would gladly protect all in his pack with all that he has, giving his life if he had to. Luckily such dramatic action is seldom required, but the fact remains that this little dog has it in him and that is what makes him such a marvel. All told, a gold French bulldog pendant doesn’t seem like too much to honor him with, does it? |
