Description: Beagles tend to have a nice sized bunch of babies in a litter, usually five to seven at a time. That really seems like a lot of bouncing baby joy for one household! If the exuberance of the puppies in any way matches that of the adult dog, it must be one heck of a lively home. It’s a good thing that the puppies are generally healthy and grow up pretty fast. From what I’ve learned, the only real difficulty might be in mating a smaller sized beagle female with a larger male, making delivery of the puppies hard. Beagles like company. Maybe the reason I think of beagles as sometimes being problem barkers is for this very reason. But even that can be handled by a little training, which dogs can really benefit from, especially farm dogs like the one depicted in my gold border collie design pendant. Beagle coat care seems pretty easy and straight forward. It seems they only need a bit of a massage which probably is appreciated by a beagle after a long day on the trail. It seems that beagles can be easily trained to guard dog duty. And why not? It must be natural for them to want to protect their family from harm, seeing as they are so affectionate.
