A beautifully detailed gold pendant shimmering on a rope chain- what a wonderful way to show off your favorite animal! I’ve been creating animal jewelry in sterling silver for many years and I’m so happy to be able to offer all my jewelry designs in 14k gold as well. If you’ve ever had a really special animal companion (and who hasn’t) you can understand why so many of my customers wear the likeness of that extraordinary pet as a beautiful gold pendant. Many people have a pendant they just never take off, it means so much to them. Probably an equal number like to change their pendants as the mood strikes them Then of course there are animal lovers who actually feel guilty if they don’t have a gold pendant representing every one of their pets! I doubt if their golden retriever would notice his beloved owner wasn’t wearing his image, but who’s to say! I sometimes think about early jewelry, and what types were worn in those long ago times. Gold pendants have surely been a popular choice at least since Cleopatra’s reign, but I imagine crudely formed gold jewelry was worn in prehistoric times as well. I think it’s fun representing animals in pendant form that are somewhat unexpected, like armadillos or ferrets! At least you can have enjoy checking out the more unusual pendant designs in gold. |
