Zoo gold charms! Sometimes I look at a wild animal from my “hat” as a jewelry artist only, and think about how this creature would look as a gold charm, pendant, etc. Unfortunately the number of hours in the day doesn’t allow me to make jewelry in the image of every animal I see. But I do examine the toad on our evening stroll or the new butterfly drying her wings on the side of our garage carefully and from the viewpoint of an artist. I think it helps me to appreciate nature with even more care and love. And the natural world is brimming with wild life and adventure! From the lizard on the sill outside my studio who is trying to attract a mate with his gorgeous orange inflated throat, to the black cat in the yard stalking a bug, all are involved in life’s adventures from their own viewpoints. It really is a lot of fun if you can just slow down a bit and watch what is going on in your immediate environment. It may seem like a stretch to go from a butterfly to an elephant, but all are essential parts of the planet’s ecology. When you place an order for a gold wildlife charm or a gold avian charm, please be patient. Each design is cast individually just for you by my goldsmith, then polished and finished. The whole process can take up to six weeks. |
