Description: To top it off, these earrings are a great shape and size. I say if you’re going to wear gold jewelry, it may as well be something unique like a pair of armadillo earrings!
Armadillos, I’ve just discovered are in the order known as edentate, which means without teeth. However, armadillos do have teeth, so they must have made it into this order just by the skin of their teeth. Sorry.
Armadillos of the nine banded type are pretty much loners, unless you include mom and the kids. Females especially have home ranges all to themselves. The guys’ ranges tend to overlap. They probably need a little male bonding once in a while, because it gets lonely out there in big Texas country all by yourself.
Dillos like to have several dens to hunker down in depending on where they happen to be on any particular night. Some have as many as 10 or more dens in their territory. They beautify them with grass and weeds which probably make them more comfortable. They also work at hiding their dens by covering the entrance with stuff.
Not too many armadillo lovers own a pair of armadillo earrings in this unusual position. My 14k gold facing armadillos may just make a whole new legion of Magic Zoo fans! Of course, their are gold profile armadillo earrings, too and when you are ready for other animals, the 14k gold wildlife earrings collection.
