Description: It must be a wonderful thing to be the owner of a Quarter Horse. They seem such an intelligent animal, and so very capable in different areas. I would think the most satisfying thing would be merely to ride the magnificent countryside on the back of one of these beautiful and trustworthy animals. The horse foot is an amazing structure in itself. It is made up of sensitive parts so the horse can actually feel the ground under its feet. Horses are, it goes without saying, very heavy animals and the hooves are of prime importance to the health of the animal. According to the farrier, your horse must have good feet or there will be trouble ahead. Depending on the breed of the horse, the feet will vary. For instance, the Thoroughbred has thin soles and its feet sometimes bruise. It’s important that the feet are the same, and have the same size and shape. I think of the tires on a vehicle. If one of them is bald, it messes up the other tires as well. This is probably a poor analogy, but I think I get the concept. Please enjoy this photograph of my Quarter Horse earrings in 14k gold.
