Description: This is a dog with a grand history, and it seems appropriate to have a pair of earrings that match that grandness. I don’t know if anyone knows for sure the ancestry of this dog, but a good guess seems to be that it was the result of the mating of a Beaver dog and a rough-coated ratting dog. Both of these are extinct breeds. The other proposal is that it is a descendent of a shepherd dog of some type. All three of the schnauzers make good and loyal pets. They sometimes are plagued with skin problems especially in the winter when the heat is on and the air may be excessively dry. It’s a good idea to keep an eye on their skin so it can be handled before any skin problems get out of hand. The standard schnauzer is supposed to be easy to train. But since it is also pretty spirited, the person responsible for the training has to make his wishes known in no uncertain terms and insist that the schnauzer obey them. (Of course this would be done kindly, but with the intention that the schnauzer actually do what is asked.) I created the schnauzer design in a pair of gold schnauzer earrings so that everyone who liked the design could wear them. I know many women prefer gold, and this is who these dog earrings are for! I have quite a few dog earrings made from gold where designs of gold scottie earrings and many surprises can be seen. |
