When I designed this face, I was going for the feeling this dog evokes in me, almost a maternal concern for his welfare! It may be because of the expressive eyes or the flat muzzle with the slightly disappointed look that makes me want to pick him up and give him a hug. Maybe he would be insulted if I suddenly picked him up for a hug, but that’s just the way his look strikes me.

Now it could be that looks are deceiving! Behind that whimsical outer mask lurks a dog that is perpetually planning secret missions or planning his next campaign to assault the enemy (whoever that may be). I mean, sometimes the most innocent of faces hides dark thoughts and unknown purposes. But in this case, I seriously doubt it.

I would think that anyone with a French bulldog as a companion would be full of stories about him or her, enough to fill a small book. Does anyone out there have a good Frenchie story? Maybe I could include it somewhere on my website! If you have a unique, never seen anywhere else tale about your little charge, let me know!
