Description: Boxer dogs have been with us in one form or another since about the mid 19th century. You take a little mastiff and you mix in a little bulldog and you end up with a great recipe for an excellent dog. Voila! It doesn’t get much better than that. I like the design with the ears unclipped. What would be the point of clipping those lovely velvet ears, anyway? What if to be in style we had to “dock” our index fingers or cut our ears into little pointy shapes? You see where this kind of thinking can lead? No, give me the natural look if you please. At least with our animal companions! Boxers are nothing if not adaptable. I’ve seen happy boxers who looked perfectly healthy in New York City and right here in Clearwater, which isn’t exactly in the country, but is a bit more on the verdant side of things. After all we have white sand beaches for happy dogs to run on, or at least I guess they’re allowed to run on them. You’d think so anyway because after all the tide comes in and handles all those little accidents in a pretty regular manner. And besides, doesn’t everyone carry plastic bags around with them when they walk their dogs these days? If you are a “gold” person, I’m glad to be able to offer this pair of my boxer earrings in that most precious of precious metals. I present… my gold boxer earrings to you at last. |
