Description: Probably the best known dolphin is the Bottlenosed dolphin, the intelligent, friendly animal that is found sometimes performing stunts in large aquaria. They can be up to 12 feet in length and have a beak with 80 teeth. Their bodies are dark grey with a lighter underside, but somehow they look wonderful as gold jewelry! So many of them are in captivity because of the relative ease with which they can be captured. They’re studied by some scientists in an effort to decode their language. They are considered easy to train if well treated because they become attached to their captors and seem to think of them as friends. They even love to play games, using whatever is available.
