If I were a lover of things from the sea, (which, of course I am) I would probably be happy to have these little gold marine animal charms on my bracelet.
I think I could just start anywhere in the world’s oceans and begin creating jewelry to represent the animals there. I would imagine I’d have more beautiful models to work from than I could complete in years of designing! But what joy it would be to sort through whatever it was that lived there and to get busy creating their shapes and personalities as 14k gold charm designs.
Sometimes I marvel that there is another “universe” just off the edge of every land mass on the planet, one full of mystery, drama and surprises. I wonder how many species there are in the ocean still unidentified, and how many are so deep that they may never be.
I’ve been planning to design a seahorse in precious metal, both in sterling silver and gold, for several years now. There are others from the fishy depths I’d like to attempt. All in good time, I suppose.
I view this section as one bursting with potential, a bit like a Christmas present waiting to be unwrapped. Sort of like my
gold reptile charm collection which has room to grow. Or maybe a better analogy is the feeling I had on Christmas Eve as a child, with all the excitement just around the corner. That’s how I feel about designing my future gold marine animal charms.
