Description: I’ve met a quite a few customers who also get a kick out of chickens- at least one of whom is a poultry veterinarian in California. I fondly refer to her as the chicken lady and she definitely knows who I’m talking about! She usually approaches my jewelry booth at one of our trade shows wearing an enormous chicken purse and asking for my latest chicken designs. She is definitely one of my special customers. This Doctor is the proud owner of several hand made and one of a kind chicken designs I’ve created for her throughout the years. I think chickens deserve a little respect. After all they’ve fed us for thousands of years, both as egg layers and in the soup pot. It’s time they were honored with their own chicken charm. Since some ancient people thought chickens had powers of divination, maybe this is actually a good luck amulet! I think anything you want to endow with special powers may just exhibit them.
