One of these days I’ll actually be done writing copy for my website and I can actually work as an artist again! Is that possible? Well, I have found time for the new gold poodle charm with a puppy cut as well as other additions to my gold dog breed charms. Poodles at one time retrieved fallen duck from lakes.  To facilitate their swimming, the dog’s hindquarters were shaved. Big poofy balls of fur were left on various places to make sure the dogs joints weren’t subject to damage from the cold water. The hair was tied back from the eyes. There you go. The origin of the first poodle hair do. The dog does require some grooming because they don’t shed so their hair will get matted if left to its own devices. It can take forever to tease out the tangles, so it’s probably worth the expense to get them clipped. Speaking about poodle hair- it is the most elegant feeling of all the dog coats. It really reminds me of silken threads. Many prefer a puppy clip or the continental clip to the fancy show cut, but I know there are many variations of the show cut as well.
