Description: I find it amusing to create gold jewelry in a somewhat whimsical design. Why be serious? There are already a lot of jewelers who make “serious” dog jewelry. I prefer that things be a bit lightened up, and that way we both have more fun! And when you are representing a dog as non-serious as a corgi, it fits even better. I just love those perky little ears and that look of mischievous something or other up the sleeve. There have been a couple different theories of the dog’s ancestry. Some think that Spitz is involved, due to the corgi’s rather fox like face. Other’s have the idea that the Swedish Vallhund was introduced somewhere along the line. To me, the corgi is totally an individual, unique unto himself. I’ve been told by more than one corgi owner and even by the veterinarians that treat them that they can be very willful dogs. Is that bad? I suppose when you’re trying to give a shot to a dog or take his temperature that a tractable personality is helpful. As far as everyday life, I would think a little willfullness (within reason) could spice things up a bit! Whatever the personality of your corgi, this gold corgi charm might be a little reminder of all his qualities, whatever they may be! |
