Description: Chihuahuas are rather self important little tykes, and believe themselves invulnerable to just about everything. There’s a lot that goes on in that apple shaped head, much of which would probably amaze and alarm the dog owner that thinks of her new Chihuahua as a delicate little flower! Chihuahuas like and enjoy exercise. Of course, despite their bravery they are indeed little dogs and do need some protection against the elements and bigger canines who may not realize the actual size of your Chihuahua, according to himself. I think a wonderful children’s book could be written starring a Don Quixote sort of character in the form of a brave Chihuahua, going about the world performing deeds of daring do and rescuing maiden dogs, some of much greater girth than himself. I can almost see it now! I think he would be a Mexican dog, perhaps named “Don Pepito” or some such. He would have a satin red cape and a sidekick the size of a Great Dane with another appropriate name. I think he could just be called Pedro! Perhaps I’ll work on that sometime. Meanwhile I’ll just stick to what I do best, and that is designing gold dog jewelry and charms such as my 14k gold cocker spaniel charm or this sweet gold Chihuahua charm!
