A gold charm bracelet full of beautiful bird charms…I can see it now! Perhaps it might take a while to complete it, but that can be half the fun at least. Gold is a beautiful metal-catching the light in exquisite ways. I used to consider myself a “sterling silver person”, but since I’ve been having my work cast in 14k gold I’m starting to change my mind. Gold charms really are exceptional and the 14k bird charms are good examples.
This is a good time to start collecting gold charms. Little by little and before you know it you have a piece of gold jewelry worthy of being a family heirloom. If your family is in love with pet birds, this could be a piece definitely passed down through the generations, just like that long lived pet bird of yours!
Wouldn’t it be a glorious thing to see flocks of parrots flying in all their splendor in South America, Indonesia, Africa or Australia? It would probably make me cry! It’s a thrill to me just to watch our little Clearwater Quaker parakeets tumbling through the sky, squawking raucously on their way somewhere or even goofing around or fighting over a blade of grass on a lawn.
I hope my gold bird charms serve as reminders of those wonderful pets and wild avian friends around us. |
