Gold charms have an especial appeal to me. My beloved grandmother Eva wore a gold charm bracelet with gold charms that each had a grandchild’s name engraved on it. I believe my mother (her daughter) started that tradition and it was a beautiful bracelet indeed. (She had 20 grandkids, so that was quite a piece of gold jewelry!) I don’t have charms that can be engraved with a child’s name, but I do have a really wonderful selection of fine 14k gold charms, many with animal designs that reflect special personalities. (To many women, their pets are so much a part of the family that having a gold charm version makes a lot of sense!) It is fun to mix a few gold animal charms that have special significance for your in amongst the kids names. I can imagine a gold charm bracelet just full of Magic Zoo animals all jingling together and glinting prettily in the sun. You really can put quite a few charms on this bracelet. All my gold charms come with a spring ring attached, a little device that lets you clip the charm directly onto the bracelet. All of my charms in this section are 14k gold, and are cast especially for you by my goldsmith in New England when I receive your order so you need to allow a bit more time for orders of gold charms. |
