And just for the fun of it, I designed these turtles in a color that reminds me of red garnets. I figured I might as well have a good time, entertain myself as well as my customers with some beautiful colors.
I've noticed that a lot of other people are fond of turtles besides me. I think a lot of the appeal is that turtles are so darn cute. The whole idea of carrying your home around with you on your back is pretty adorable. And not only that, but they can tuck their limbs and head, inside which definitely adds to their appeal.
My turtle earrings are, of course, rather a generic species. But in real life there are probably hundreds of varieties of turtles and tortoises. If there were no factors in my designing related to time, I'd probably do quiet a few more.
Actually, I'm sure I will one of these days.
But for now, at least I have my enamel turtle jewelry painted in a couple of different colors. I tried to choose colors that were rich and pretty. Not only that, but this particular type of epoxy paint has a bit of swirl and texture which to me makes them even more interesting.
I really hope you like these enamel red turtle earrings, and have a couple of outfits to wear with them!

Unique! Review by Lois
I almost got these in green, but I saw the red and thought they were so different. My birthstone is the garnet, and these do look like little garnets. My husband and I had a turtle named Clementine for years and years, and I will think of her whenever I wear these (for years and years). They're really fun and just so cute and well made. Thanks so much! (Posted on 6/27/2016)
