I was lying awake in bed one night, thinking about the painting of my cat jewelry. Sure, I had (so far) a calico, Siamese and black and white painted cat. But I felt something was missing.
Yes, I needed a purple cat! (And a green one and a blue one, but more on those elsewhere) I just had a creative "brain wave' and got so excited it was almost more than I could do to keep myself from jumping out of bed and calling my painter right then and there!
I finally got to sleep, with visions of colorful cats dancing in my head. The next morning I called my partner in painting up in New England and she thought the idea was great and would work out well.
A little while later I had my first sample of an enamel purple cat pin. I was very happy with the look. I loved the way the detail of my original design showed through the translucent paint color. I loved the shiny smooth texture. I loved everything about it!
Not only that, but my two and a half year old grand daughter, Ada, loved it so much she gave it a name (Frieda) and proceeded to happily play with the sample. What better sign could I have that I was on the right track with this enamel purple cat pin design?
So here you have it. A lovely royal purple cat pin. I know the color purple has especial significance for some people, and I'm happy to add to the meaning of this cat pin for those individuals.
But for many, the enamel purple cat pin will merely be a fun addition to your wardrobe. I hope it gives you many hours of wearing pleasure!
Don't forget to see my other choices of cat pins in enamel, like this textured fat cat in painted topaz brown.
