I’m serious and am not really trying to make a pun, evidence to the contrary. I just think the semi-transparent quality of the chocolate lab is darn pretty. And I do believe it is a color that is pretty close to the actual coat color of the chocolate lab. At least my customers seem to have no difficulty in recognizing it as such. When they ask if I have any chocolate lab earrings and I point to these post earrings, they generally pick them up and often pay me for them.

If I were a woman of many holes in the ear, (as well as being an all around lab owner) I would gladly wear the little posts in one set of holes and the dangly lab earrings in another set. Of course, you could really mix it up and wear the yellow labs in one hole, the chocolate labs in another and the necklace could be a black lab.

Or not.

But the beauty of the Magic Zoo is that I don’t mind and in fact encourage my customers to be creative in their dog jewelry wearing. Maybe it’s just me, but I see nothing wrong in mixing things up a little bit. There is way too much predictability in the wearing of jewelry. Why not be surprising?

So these are my “wise” words, which you are perfectly welcome to toss out. But do trust me when I say the enamel chocolate lab post earrings are really, really pretty!
