Description: I originally “invented” this armadillo pin as something that could be worn around the holidays. I must’ve been thinking about myself, a rather unusual woman who wouldn’t think twice about wearing an armadillo painted with red stripes to wear in December. Well, I did discover that it was appreciated for what it was, and that was as much as I could ask for. So this fanciful armadillo, created with cold enameling has entered the Magic Zoo world of magical zoo animals.
I wonder how many northerners have seen this remarkable little fellow anywhere than sadly along the highways of the south. I’ve never gotten closer than about 20 feet away from a live one, but that’s probably closer than 90% of the Earth’s population.
Imagine the innocence of the lowly armadillo. Do they worry about wars? No. Do they have to pay the bills? Again, a resounding no. Their main problem seems to be finding the juiciest and the best bugs and avoiding other armadillos. Not prone to partying all night or wild nightclubs, the armadillo seems a serious sort that spends time pondering things that scurry underfoot. And that, at least, is important to him. They rather frantically dig after their food.
Wear this “enamel” armadillo pin in good health and to keep this curious animal in all of our consciousnesses.
