Enamel wildlife pins, an expansive name for the current offering, but with lots of room to grow! That’s the great thing about virtual shelves in my virtual store. And who would ever have thought it would come to this? Especially for such a non technological wonder such as I. Although I must say it was about time for me to join the modern race of humans who can at least plug in a computer. There is now, I find, a bit more for a jewelry artist to know to go a little further down the road, especially with a successful web store carrying a lot of my gold, silver, pewter and now enamel jewelry. I’ve just got to learn some terminology. My computer, for instance, warms up in the morning when I turn it on. Some day it may “boot up” like everyone else’s. Using the nomenclature of the subject makes me feel sort of phony since I have no idea what I’m talking about most of the time. But I do appreciate a computer as a writing tool. A lot. Since, as an artist I also like to write, I experienced the fish taking to water feeling, once I got back some of my high school typing skills. And since those same skills were never A plus standard, I really appreciate the delete button! My sister Holly who is a smarty and a real computer whiz, still scratches her head when I talk about my newfound ability to copy and paste. Not bad for a jewelry artist with the mechanical ability of close to zero. So my real expertise allows me to do things like make new enamel wildlife pins and that, my friend, is the ecological niche I occupy. It has produced some beautiful enamel bird pins and more gift pins in enamel.
