And I really mean it!

When you create things for a living, you’re bound to end up with favorites. It may be because the original multi colored cat pin was one of my very first Magic Zoo designs that makes it so special to me. I’m not sure about that, because this version is quite different than the original. However, the color scheme is pretty similar to that long-ago version of my multi-colored cat jewelry.

I’ve been attracted to the pretty combination of “watery” blues and greens for a long time. Perhaps it’s the latent Impressionist in me. It does make for a really wonderful color combination, though a bit more challenging cat pin to paint than some of the other designs. But of course, I think it was totally worth it, and then some.

This particular kitty pin is truly in honor of that ubiquitous of all modern felines, the fat cat. And of course the philosophical question remains; “Is he fat, or is he merely fluffy?” And does it really matter, after all? (At least when you’re considering a piece of cat jewelry.
