Description:
In 1989, my first black and white cat sauntered into The Magic Zoo. And ever since that time, I’ve always had a black and white cat somewhere in the vicinity, either as a black and white pin, pair of earrings or a necklace. There’s an appeal that I can’t quite put my finger on, but it is definitely there.
I suppose this is not officially a breed, but it seems like it should be! They look so neat- a little red bow tie ought to come with the real thing. And besides, the cat themselves go with just about any décor. You just can’t go wrong with black and white anything, even a feline version of the color scheme.
I even have a pair of black and white cats in my family (extended family, that is) My brother Jeff and his wife Reda have a wonderful black and white kitty “set” named Ben and Lizzie. They do fight like brother and sister, even though they aren’t genetically related. But I have seen them be affectionate once in a while with each other as well, as long as they don’t think anyone is looking.
Nonetheless, they are totally entertaining, and a lot of fun to have around. And I would imagine this black and white cat pin would be fun to have around as well. Wear it with just about anything, except maybe pastel colors. That’s my opinion, anyway!
