Enamel marine animal necklaces are something most children, no matter the age, seem to gravitate towards. Maybe it’s that kids love to swim and identify so freely with the fishy and sea mammaly animals and that’s the reason behind their interest. Whatever it is, it’s certainly something I’ve noticed for many years as an animal jewelry artist.
I remember the first time my children were taught to swim. That was all they wanted to do! My daughter, in particular was a real little “water baby”. I can still see her at about age three, dashing in and out of the surf in Florida, squealing with delightful little girl bubbling laughter. Now my grand daughter, who at first was a bit diffident regarding the beach, can’t stay out of the water either.
It’s hard to write these descriptions sometimes, because I just want to dive into the designing mode again, my mind spinning with new ideas! For instance, I am all excited about the idea of a beautiful green enamel seahorse necklace. Let me at that studio!
I must, however, apply myself to the various other tasks at hand first. There’s a lot more to this entrepreneurial artist business than just being an artist.
