Description: You see, even artists get bored sometimes. I have such a plethora of armadillo designs that I just had to explode a little and go in another direction. And here you have it. The paint is an epoxy red with wonderful little flecks that give it a real light from within, so to speak. If you see it under a light it really does sparkle nicely. I mean, even armadillos, those rather drably colored little fellows, deserve to have a bit of bling in their lives. And perhaps these earrings will make them think of themselves as more of a party animal and less as an animal that spends its days in a burrow just to get away from other armadillos. I just had a fleeting creative thought of festooning a real armadillo with bows and baubles. I doubt it would be terribly amused. It’s a good thing that I can be satisfied with imagining these things without having a strong impulse to carry it out in the physical plane. Well, here is a grand opportunity to give a wild red armadillo a go by wearing a pair of these wondrous and marvelous pewter armadillo earrings with the festive red stripes. |
