The enamel wildlife earrings section is the beginning of the colorful enamel earrings I will continue to design as time moves along.
I thought an armadillo design was a good place to start. I have created so many armadillos over the Magic Zoo years and even before. No telling what wildlife earrings will follow in the armadillo’s foot steps! There are certainly enough animals loosely classified as wildlife to keep me busy for a good long while.
The enamel epoxy surely opens up some design roads that I wouldn’t have considered before. It’s quite an adventure, and kind of a unique experience for me to have others painting the earrings that I’ve designed. It took me a little while to settle down and let other artists have a little fun with my work, but it seems to be working out beautifully. I worked so long as a solitary artist that it took a real leap of faith for me to allow others to paint something that I’d created.
