Some may think that enamel reptile earrings are a bit of an oxymoron. Why in the world would women want to wear reptile earrings?
I say, “Why not?” Reptiles are full of gorgeous colors and shapes. For the most part they are gentle animals. Would that not be a good argument to make for women to wear reptile earrings?
A few years ago I was visiting my sister in Rhode Island. I wanted to give her a pair of my earrings and asked her to pick her favorite from my Magic Zoo collection. Guess what she picked? A pair of bearded dragon earrings! See what I mean?
Of course being sisters, we are both big time animal lovers. But I know there are other women who are also fond of reptiles in all their myriad beautiful species and shapes, and probably would appreciate the opportunity of being able to purchase and wear lovely enamel reptile earrings. I don’t know how many other American artists are contributing to the reptile earring supply in the world, but I certainly plan to do my part!
