Doberman Pinscher Jewelry

I think the Doberman is beautiful. I tried to connect with the native elegance of the breed in my Doberman jewelry.

I love the history of this breed. It seems a man named Louis Dobermann (two “ns”) was a German tax collector, forced to travel in criminal infested neighborhoods and areas. He wanted a watchdog that could also serve as a bodyguard. Supposedly he bred the Doberman from Great Dane, German Shepherd, Rottweiler and pinscher stock. What I want to know is how did he protect himself while he was waiting for the various crossings to grow up so they could be mated? That’s the kind of thing I think about. But apparently it worked out and he lived to get the right combination.

Doberman Pinschers have been used as watchdogs and bodyguards throughout their history. They’ve served as police dogs, the military, and for guarding property. During WWI, they were used on the German front.

Although I do admire them for their beauty, I always feel like I need to mind my Ps and Qs when I’m in their vicinity. No sudden boisterous moves. Maybe that’s a little over the top, but they just don’t look like they’d have much tolerance for shenanigans. (Not that I’m especially prone to that kind of behavior.)

I have a few different Doberman jewelry possibilities that I hope you’ll find reflect the beauty of this breed.
