About Our Rabbit Jewelry
This rabbit jewelry design I tend to think of as my “Victorian” rabbit. It has a different look and feel from the bunny design. This design is available in a pin pendant combination, a regular smaller pendant, a charm or a pair of earrings.

There are 44 species of rabbits and hares. They’ve been domesticated at least since Roman times, probably in Northern Africa or possibly Italy.

Just the domestic rabbit alone has over 50 breeds. That’s a lot of models to choose from.

In some countries, like Australia where rabbits were introduced and have no other enemy but man, the population of rabbits has gotten completely out of control. This is  unfortunate as the rabbits aren’t really to blame, only the short-sightedness of people.

One of the major differences between rabbits and hares is that hares are adapted for burrowing and hares for running. But even hares will dig holes if the climate is too extreme. (Very hot or very low temperatures.)

All hares and even rabbits have the ability for quick flight when the need arises. Did you know that a hare can reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour? That’s incredible! I’m sure being chased by a lynx or wolf would be a real encouragement to break the speed limit.

This particular rabbit jewelry design might pass for either a rabbit or a hare, what do you think?
