I had more fun designing this mouse jewelry, especially the earrings and the pendant!
To me, field mice are very cute. Outside. Where they belong. I once knew a woman who actually FED the mice in her house. Why would you bother when they’re so adept at helping themselves? That was one of the oddest things about this particular person who was a real fountain of unusual behavior.
I just read that in Florida he mouse often builds its nest in a burrow made by a turtle. In Asia there’s a breed of mouse that lives inside of a bamboo stalk. In fact, mice are so adaptable they can live almost anywhere and eat just about anything. I usually think of mice as being vegetarians, but there are some that feast on grasshoppers and worms and can even be cannibalistic! (This is a specific species of mouse known as a grasshopper mouse.)
I realize that some people keep mice as pets. I see nothing wrong with that because I’m assuming for the most part they live in a cage that can be cleaned and where they’re contained. I doubt many owners of pet mice let them have the run of the house, but who knows. I hope they aren’t feeding them pizza and coke.
My mouse jewelry can be ordered as earrings, a pendant a charm, a larger sized pendant and a pin. |
